An educational program/hike at SERC to learn about the ecological adaptions, physical characteristics, and uses of bald cyprus trees. They are called bald because they are not evergreen, but lose their needles in fall.
The ride over to the hiking trail was also a treat--the children road on the Green Caterpillar, SERC's new all solar vehicle.
